My initial concern with joining Twitter was that it would pile on the time-consuming internet hours that I already spend with the blog, facebook and Picasa photos. However, with only 140 characters per tweet, and a seriously interesting spiderweb of connecting ideas, events and links, the lure of Twitter is hard to ignore.
Pre-trip, my friends used to subscribe to my “daily linkies”, a 20+ list of the day’s best links from the interwebs. Of course my twitter stream will be a perfect forum for travel related goodies (where was it when I was chased up the street by a pregnant goat?) but also expect a healthy dose of random links as well.
