With the celebrations for El Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) in full swing yesterday and today, I wanted to post this photo from the cemetery in Punta Arenas.
Punta Arenas was the beginning of my round-the-world journey – the first city I visited, and a jumping point for treks through Chilean Patagonia. Through the next 18 months, the beauty of the cemetery stayed with me, and this photo was my favorite of the bunch.
